Privacy Policy
UnCoupe — a football prediction pool · Updated 10 September 2026
Who is responsible
Unvale (Madrid, Spain) operates UnCoupe and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact for anything in this policy: support@unvale.so.
What we collect
When you sign in with Apple: a pseudonymous Apple identifier (never your password) and the name you choose to display. As you play: your predictions, your scores, your chat messages, who you follow, and — only if you allow notifications — a push-notification token. That is the full list; there are no analytics or advertising trackers in the app.
Why, and on what legal basis
We process this data to run the pool you joined — showing who you are on the leaderboard, scoring your predictions, delivering chat, and revealing picks after games lock (performance of our contract with you, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) — and to send match and score notifications you opted into (consent, art. 6(1)(a), withdrawable any time in iOS Settings).
What we never do
We do not sell your data, show ads, profile you, track you across other apps or websites, or share your information with anyone beyond what the pool's own features require.
Who processes it for us
Apple (sign-in and push notifications) and Render (cloud hosting of our backend and database, with servers in the United States under standard contractual clauses). Both act as processors on our instructions; no one else touches the data.
How long we keep it
Group-channel chat messages expire automatically after 24 hours. Direct messages persist for their participants. Predictions, scores and your profile persist for the lifetime of the pool so the shared leaderboard stays truthful, and are removed when your account is deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, ask for a portable copy, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, predictions and messages from the leaderboard and reveals. Write to support@unvale.so — we answer within a month. You can also complain to your supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD at aepd.es).
Children
UnCoupe is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the app will say so before the change takes effect. This version is dated 10 September 2026.
